Some People V Reginald D Hunter
Laconic, thoughtful, funny, skipping around the line as if he was playing double dutch in a school years – Reginald D Hunter is always a treat to behold. Playing fast and loose with taboo subjects and refusing to stick to the PC-approved line, Hunter charms open minds as if they were clams and then leaves it up to you as to whether you follow his lead. Even his ‘silly’ section is just a ruse to really poke the bear, with a smile. Support came from the delight Glen Wool, woefully lower in public profile than his talent deserves, twisting expectation and guiding us into a darker absurd than most. A rich and delicious comedic meal for the mind.
