Stand Up For Refugees

A great evening full of very talented people making us all laugh in order to raise both money and awareness for a very sober subject. Comedians gave their time for free, speaking about the issue of refugees in Brighton and nationally, making us think, and then making us cry with laughter. Jen Brister, Bec Hill, Zoe Lyons, Stephen Grant, Kerry Godliman, Shappi Khorsandi, Tiernan Douieb, Mark Steel, Tom Allen, and special guest Dara O’Briain were all amazing, with a mixture of the silly and the strange, politics, religion, hen parties, relationships, social media, and just plain good old one-liners.
