Latest TV: Your solution to the heatwave

tv

Whether you’re indoors watching TV or outside watching our livestream on iPhone or tablet, there’s something to get you hot under the collar and cool you down.

For your regular heated debate, councillors and organisation leads appear each week to put across their views on The Vote. Young and old, Labour, Green or Tory, Leavers or Remainers, they battle it out with our very civilised hosts.

If you have something to share to the 400,000 residents we broadcast to in the Brighton, Hove and Worthing region, then contact us with your news story. Thousands of residents have already appeared on our daily news programmes, letting us know what is happening in the city.

Wonderfully curated LGBT+ films

And to chill out, we have some new LGBT+ programmes each day from 9pm, including the wonderful Out With Allan Jay, our eponymous hero sneaks a peek at all the best venues in the city uncovering fabulous scenes of dancing, drinking, singing and sequins! And don’t forget to view Tales From The Margins – wonderfully curated LGBT+ films from around the world, including many countries which are hostile to LGBT+ people. Rainer Schulze interviews the directors of the films and conveys the risks they take.

We are also very excited about the new football season coming up in August, as we will have a brand new Albion Show three times per week featuring interviews with the players as well as highlights from the women’s games and info for fans old and new. More on that soon. We also continue to film the Non-League show, covering all the non-league teams in the area, including Lewes, Whitehawk, Burgess Hill and Lancing.

So whatever the weather tune in to Freeview Channel 7, or Virgin Media 159 or thelatest.co.uk and feel the warmth of your local TV programming.
