‘Mass Karaoke Sesh’ Coming to the Komedia Tommorow Night

Karaoke is always better with a couple of mates and handful of booze right? Now add a raving, jumping crowd,  your favourite anthems from across the ages and you’ve yourself a Massaoke mental night out.

You may have heard of Massaoke, who are regulars at the Edinburgh Fringe as well as UK festivals such as Glastonbury and Latitude. They also have monthly club nights in London and Glasgow and are now returning to the Komedia tomorrow night after an unforgettable show at Brighton’s Fringe. Deemed, “One of London’s best nights out” by the Sunday Mirror, this sounds like an event not to be missed.

Launched by a group of friends in a London pub basement, Massaoke started as Friday I’m in Love. From these beginnings the band played at both public and private gigs up and down the country and across the world. They’ve rocked Latitude, T in the Park and the Rugby World Cup at Twickenham and collaborated with Ed Byrne, Phil Jupitus and Tim Vine to name just a few.

The band also established a charity fundraiser in 2015, The Common People Prom, a reboot of the Last Night of the Proms with a rock’n’roll twist to raise money for the Amy Winehouse Foundation.

Music includes Bonnie Tyler, Bon Jovi, Taylor Swift and Nirvana plus ABBA and Spice to name a few. Dancing goes on late into the night with lip-sync battles and Pop DJs. You can expect a euphoric experience, celebrating all your favourite songs with your closest friends. If you want a guaranteed great night out this has to be it.
