Fancy Chance: Flight of Fancy
Fancy Chance aka Veronica Thompson instructed us to fasten our seat belts and eat the Mini Cheddars she’d hurled at us, and so began an hour’s inflight entertainment from South Korea to Dalston via Seattle. This unflinching but genuinely funny autobiographical show takes us from a baby being abandoned at a Seoul police station and growing up in a wholesome American family to rebelling by joining a lesbian burlesque show complete with well-honed nipple tassel twirls. An emotional song to her birth mother was as touching as her Korean makeover video was hilarious. A first class trip in fabulous company.
