Brighton isn’t just being painted red this weekend

This weekend sees the Labour Party conference come to Brighton from the 24th – 27th September. The Women’s Conference is taking place on Saturday 23rd September.

However, the city will also get a little more colourful as the Colour Run is also taking place this weekend.

The Colour Run is one of the largest, and certainly most unique 5k run on offer. It “celebrates healthiness, happiness friendship and having the time of your life!”

Colour Runners start the race wearing a white t-shirt, getting covered in colour at 4 Colour Zones as they go around the course. This year there is a new FOAM ZONE for runners to enjoy – also featuring a rainbow of colours for those taking part to get covered in.

Those that don’t like running can jog, walk, dance, skip or somersault their way around the course. The organisers say it’s all about the fun and making you smile.

The fun [and colour!] doesn’t stop once you finish the course. There is a Finish Festival – including DJs, MCs, ‘Colour Throws’ and ‘Colour Crazy’ giveaways.
