Trumpageddon

Trumpageddon is an attempt to satirise the leader of the free world. It started off strongly with a cleverly edited introductory video, showing how media heavy Trump’s world is. The show suffers from a paucity of good material and depends on an audience Q&A which was unfortunate as there were very few bums on seats. Simon Jay is Donald complete with orange tan but where was the Weetabix hair? His characterisation is quite frankly a bit lazy, much like Trump himself. It’s hard to spend a full hour with a protagonist who is completely unlikeable, so maybe it was spot on?
