Mayday Parade

Addictive, high octane and rhythmic chaos had the sold out Concorde 2 crowd moshing like it was a 1990’s Nirvana gig. And this was just the warm up band ‘With Confidence’ chasing up powerful first act ‘All Get Out’. It was hard to know how headliner ‘Mayday Parade’ could top this. But they did. Bursting on to the stage with fast, ferocious beats and whining guitars. Derek Sanders then dazzled with rousing vocals against a backdrop of dense noisy rock. They briefly came up for air with love ballad ‘Miserable at Best’. But mostly the night was pure hedonism with Mayday performing 2007 debut album ‘A Lesson in Romantics’ and imprinting an indelible memory onto the crowd with their electrifying performance.
