Mindgame

Somewhere between a fairground ride and a boozy night out lies Mindgame; It leaves you slightly disorientated, but in a good way. It’s from the prolific pen of crime writer Anthony Horowitz who sets his psychological thriller in an asylum in deepest Suffolk. The writing is sharp and funny, taking an acerbic look at treatment systems for the criminally insane. The cast give it all they have and score well on the laughs as well as the chills. With lots of lovely twists and turns, it ‘does what it says on the tin’ and plays games with your mind.
