BREMF LIVE! – Improviso

This unusual ensemble of recorders, violin, ’cello and theorbo play early music with a folksy touch. Their style of improvisation gives a freshness to their performances, and this is the third time we have heard them this season. They play with assurance and many individual mannerisms that give them a distinctive voice which allows them to stand out in the perhaps over-crowded world of Baroque ensembles.
