Sussex Police were at Churchill Sq. to announce new plans on policing in the county

Sussex Police have announced plans to work smarter to keep its local communities safe.

Newly-formed Prevention Teams – made up of skilled PCSOs, officers and staff, and those formerly known as Neighbourhood Policing Teams – are now, according to the force, working more efficiently and effectively to prevent crime and to actively target local issues.

And we heard from Sussex Chief Inspector Giles York about the changes and how they plan to make residents and visitors feel more safe.
