The Snowman: Raymond Briggs’ stunning classic comes to the stage at Theatre Royal Brighton

The much loved production of The Snowman, which has been touring the globe for over twenty years, will bring a flurry of magic and entertainment for all the family to Theatre Royal Brighton from Wednesday 24 – Sunday 28 January.

This ever sparkling production transports children into the wintery wonderland of a boy and his magical snowman with a mix of enchanting dancing and live music; including the famous title song, ‘Walking in the Air’. A unique friendship is formed as the boy and his snowman take a starry-skied adventure to the North Pole where they meet a host of colourful characters including dancing penguins, reindeer, Father Christmas and the infamous Jack Frost.

Audiences can expect larger than life costumes, sparkling set designs and magical effects that combine to bring this childhood favourite to life, live on stage. Based on the book by Raymond Briggs and the film directed by Dianne Jackson and produced by John Coates, The Snowman is a much loved festive tradition of storytelling, spectacle and magic.
