Stand-Up History

Stand-Up History arrived with a question mark over its head and high ambitions – the aim to not only educate and intellectually engage its audience but also entertain it with laughter. Such lofty aspirations were attained with a unicorn’s rarety of a line-up including two active archeologists and one philiosophy lecturer, with each performer holding their own on a comedy level just as much as they did with their historical credentials.

Pierre Novelli headlined, with a confident and memorable set digging into archaic Welsh law and infidelity that left facts echoing with laughter in our bellies.

An engaging and entertaining pairing of learning and good humour! Please let’s have them back again, please.
