This clowning couple are reinventing Circus for us full grown kids in our stretched out forms, as a wordless poem to childhood. Cheeky and poignant, enchanting and edgy too. Sometimes surreal, always engaging. Here the ordinary or taken for granted is shown anew as uncommon and alive to our senses once again. Stunning visual treats, my favourite of which saw fabric being manipulated into forms over fans that they call ‘wind sculpting’. The soundtrack chosen was exceptional and the third star of the show, the stage manager, got a rapture of applause for his cameo. Magical and playful, go see it!
