Cinderella and The Beanstalk: Sleeping Trees

Once upon a time Cinderella, Prince Charming, a northern Fairy Godmother, The Ugly Sisters, Jack and the Beanstalk, Jack’s cow, Rumpelstiltskin and a whole host of other characters performed a play. Three actors majestically performed these numerous roles. The running joke was that they forgot to hire a bigger cast. Tom Gordon was hilarious as he switched between being the Wicked Stepsisters and Prince Charming. The show was ridiculously funny and well acted. There were lots of boos, oohs and he’s behind you’s. Young and old were fully on board – dancing, singing silly songs and then initiating a happy ending when the cast of three received a standing ovation.
