Robin Ince: Pragmatic Insanity

Being an avid listener of Robin Ince and Brian Cox’s Radio 4 podcast The Infinite Monkey Cage, and attending a number of their live Christmas Compendiums, I was interested to see comedian Robin Ince minus his science sidekick. Billed as a ninety minute show about art and science, Robin’s inability to stay on topic means it lasts 2.5 hours and includes tangents as diverse as knitting, suicide, canal boat TV shows and goats. Happily the space for spontaneity that his solo stand up allows for only further showcases and shares his enthusiasm and infectious wonder at the world.
