Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em

Based on the classic seventies sitcom, Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em follows our hapless hero, Frank Spencer, his wife, Betty, her mother, a priest, bank manager, constable and two film makers – you can see where this is going already.

The result is two hours of hilarity as Betty tries to find the right moment to tell Frank that he is going to be a father, with a talent show and a robbery thrown into the mix.

Joe Pasquale’s timing is exquisite, perfectly inhabiting the shoes of Frank, ably supported by a talented cast. The set is also particularly impressive, especially for a regional production.

If all of that wasn’t enough, who couldn’t love a show that features a choreographed routine on stairs to ‘Knock Three Times’?
