Boeing Boeing

Boeing Boeing is a farce written in 1960, which ran for seven years in the West End during the sixties.

Bernard is engaged to three air stewardesses and keeps them apart with the help of flight schedules. Add to the plot a put-upon cook, bemused best friend and a change to flight schedules and watch the opening and closing of doors and general chaos begin.

As with many farces, this is very much a period piece, which requires all contemporary sensibilities to be put on hold for two and a half hours. Once this is achieved, it’s actually a rather fun out. The plot is pacy, direction good and cast full of energy.
