Lewes is alight with its famous bonfire celebrations.

The internationally renowned Guy Fawkes Day celebrations in Lewes are a culmination of a year’s planning by the towns seven bonfire societies. The celebrations are exuberant, fiery and often scary. William Ranieri went along to join in the fun.
