Dylan Moran: Dr Cosmos

For a masterclass in marvellous metaphors and similes, any high school English teacher would do well with a class trip to see Dylan Moran. Conjuring wild parallels and curious fantasies Moran’s language is magical, beckoning with his imagery to follow a mixture of personal and political ideas that are communicated with Jedi skills. If only everybody could convey exactly what they mean so clearly.

As well as intelligent the show was also, of course, funny – with a varied pace, like an good adventure yarn, that captivated without exhausting and opened up and tickled with ideas without preaching them.
