Plans for a modernised synagogue, community centre and block of flats in Brighton

New Church Road is at the centre of plans for a major redevelopment. The proposals are to demolish the existing synagogue hall and a pair of detached villas which currently provide residential accommodation for the Rabbi, the synagogue social hall and a children’s nursery. Now up for discussion at Brighton and Hove City Council, Mark Walker spoke to Mike Mendoza in the studio to find out more.
