ALL OR NOTHING – THE GRAND MOD EXPERIENCE

All Or Nothing

Top actress Carol Harrison brings to Brighton the excitement of the era with her Grand mod experience.

Carol Harrison is one of the UK’s best recognised and highly respected actresses, as well as a writer, director and producer. Her career spans over four decades, working at the cutting edge of theatre and television. Apart from her show business credentials Carol has an MA in screenwriting and a degree in post compulsory education and became creative director of Brighton Film School where she lectured in Action for the Camera and Screenwriting.

Alongside her powerful dramatic roles on stage, Carol starred as Dorothy in London’s Burning, the incorrigible Gloria in the popular series Brushstrokes and starred opposite Ray Winstone as sassy Loretta in the comedy series Get Back. However, she is probably best known as the exciting, fiery and passionate Louise Raymond in EastEnders. The storyline between her and son in law Grant Mitchell gripped the nation and won EastEnders a BAFTA for best soap for the first time.

Since 2012 Carol has written, directed and produced the highly acclaimed All Or Nothing The Mod Musical which for two years successfully toured the UK, playing to packed houses, including a sell-out week at the Theatre Royal Brighton, before a run in London’s West End. Since the musical ended in 2018, the company have been inundated with requests to bring the production back! As a consequence, Carol, conceived the All Or Nothing Experience, which gives a flavour of the original stage show while being a concert version. The incredibly talented cast of Actor/Musician’s tell the story of the Small Faces with humour and timeless songs. Does it matter if you don’t know the Small Faces? Not a bit, the evergreen qualities of performance evoke, even demand, audience participation, dancing, singing, and having a great night out and a feelgood smile on your face!

So, whether you are a local, or one of the many Mods and Scooterists who make an annual pilgrimage to Mod Mecca Brighton for the August bank holiday weekend, everyone can start the celebrations in style with, The Grand Mod Experience on Friday 23rd August at the Grand Hotels Empress Suite.
