Latest TV News Editor, Mark Walker, speaks to the people behind a new Brighton Fringe show, Bareback – an absurd character comedy all about sex, performance and the afterlife. They rewrote it over the past year 300 miles apart after the Home Office lost writer/performer Derek’s ‘exceptional talent’ visa (quite an ordeal we’re happy to talk about further…). The intense highs and lows of the year led them to incorporate more confessional, personal storytelling alongside their trademark absurd comedic style. Bareback is a labour of love which they can’t wait to share with everyone – and what better place for its campy debut than Brighton?
