The Vote with Mark Walker – Conservative Party Councillor, Dee Simson, with a Local Update

Latest TV News Editor, Mark Walker, speaks to the Conservative Party Councillor for the Woodingdean Ward, Dee Simson, about the latest with building on the urban fringe, including in the area around Whitehawk Hill, and we get a local update following the outcome of discussions about new improved road markings in Woodingdean and the traffic build up that area of the City is now experiencing. As Mark finds out, with building on the urban fringe, two stables are at risk of being lost for ever under plans to build new housing. Ingleside Stables, at the Race Hill in Brighton, and nearby South Downs Riding School have been included in Brighton and Hove City Council’s ten-year development plan. These proposals are now with the UK Government in the City Plan 2. But Councillor Dee Simson has urged Brighton and Hove City Council to stop “chipping away at our heritage”. Development proposals would see the two sites replaced with 45 houses. Mark finds out more.
