The Jo Cox Foundation
Latest TV News Editor, Mark Walker speaks to Su Moore from the Jo Cox Foundation. The foundation was set up in response to the tragic murder of Jo Cox MP in June of 2016 by a far right extremist. They exist to build a positive legacy for Jo, with a vision to have a kinder, more compassionate society, ensuring positive change at local, national and international levels.
Before her death, Jo Cox set up a cross-parliamentary commission to combat loneliness. Having felt the affects of loneliness first hand during her time at university and becoming a mum, she realised how big of a problem being lonely is through all generations in this country.
