Top Chef and TV star Tom Kerridge brings his Pub In The Park festival to Brighton
Pub in the Park, the UK’s biggest celebration of food and music, has revealed the full line-up of incredible music acts set to take to the stage in Preston Park, Brighton this Summer.
Tom Kerridge will be bringing together his band of incredible chef pals so you can expect to see some of the hottest new talent in the food world, TV favourites and some highly acclaimed Michelin-starred names. At each location, there’ll be award-winning pubs and restaurants serving tasting dishes showing their signature style – from local favourites to revered eateries from farther afield – giving you the chance to savour food you might not otherwise get to sink your teeth into.
When it comes to the music, already announced is a stellar line-up that includes critically acclaimed synth pop band The Human League (Friday evening), a DJ set from iconic electronic duo Basement Jaxx (Saturday evening) and singer song writing superstar Gabrielle (Lazy Sunday session), as well as singing sensation Melanie C (Saturday afternoon).
The new music acts completing the line-up include iconic British chart toppers Soul II Soul (Friday evening), one half of the UK’s original 90s DJ duo Freemasons and Brightonian Russell Small (Friday evening), English rockers Toploader (Saturday afternoon), 90s electronic dance legends Stereo MC’s (Saturday evening) and soul sensation The Craig Charles Funk & Soul Club, and Britpop rebels Dodgy (Lazy Sunday session).
The man himself, Tom Kerridge will hosting the three day event in Brighton as well as popular celebrity chef Simon Rimmer.
The first mouth-watering pubs and restaurants have been announced too including Kerridge’s very own The Hand and Flowers, king of Indian cuisine Atul Kochhar Restaurants, Bib Gourmand awarded The Kentish Hare, Ox Block by local Master Chef winner Kenny Tutt, Jodie Kidd’s The Half Moon Kirdford, Joshua Moroney and Mursal Saiq’s Cue Point – celebrating the best in British Afghan fusion BBQ, and more!
Pre-sale tickets are released at 10am on Thursday 3rd February exclusively to Pub in the Park newsletter subscribers. General on-sale tickets available from 8am on Friday 4th February.
The event will feature plenty of festival fun – with chef demonstrations, the finest produce, top quality shopping and a kid’s area to keep the little ones entertained.
