Andrew Kay speaks to Johannes Radebe from Strictly

Recently Latest TV Presenter Andrew Kay sat down to speak to Strictly Come Dancing star Johannes Radebe, about his life, work, and upcoming show.

Johannes Radebe was born in South Africa and started dancing at a young age. Over time, his skills improved until he was winning medals in dancing contests across the country.

Since then, Johannes has moved to the UK and also from the world of competitive dance to the world of Strictly Come Dancing where he has been partnering up with celebrities to create stunning routines on the BBC1 primetime show.

Johannes’s upcoming dance show Freedom sees the dancer in a show where he is free to fully express himself, and includes dancing in a multitude of styles like Ballroom, Latin, African Contemporary and dances native to South Africa.

The name ‘Freedom’ comes from the creative freedom Johannes has been able to channel into the show, but also makes reference to the fact that his birthday falls on the South African holiday of Freedom Day.

He will be performing in Brighton’s Theatre Royal on April 18th, so make sure to buy tickets before they sell out.
