WEST SUSSEX THEATRE HIGHLIGHTS

Sussex is definitely the place to be this summer for great theatre. At Chichester Festival Theatre Stephen Beresford’s new play The Southbury Child is a comic view of the life of a modern vicar faced with modern ideals and modern dilemmas.

In Worthing there is an opportunity to catch Jitney the new play from August Wilson, one of the most important voices in theatre with the fragile relationship of eight men in post Vietnam America as they deal with life, love and work in a racially segregated world.

The Southbury Child is at Chichester Festival Theatre until the 25th of July. Find tickets for the show here.

Jitney is at the Connaught Theatre Worthing from the 19th to the 23rd of July. Find tickets here.
