Stars! stars! stars! For Chichester Festival Theatre’s brand new production of Gershwin’s Crazy For You which runs until September but is surely West End bound soon after as so many of CFT’s brilliant musical productions. This one stars the brilliant Charlie Stemp and Carly Anderson. This hilarious, riotously entertaining musical is packed with glorious Gershwin melodies (including Someone to Watch Over Me, Embraceable You, I Got Rhythm and They Can’t Take That Away from Me), with stunning tap dance routines guaranteed to set the spirits soaring. Crazy for your runs until the 4th of September at Chichester Festival Theatre.

While you are in Chichester then make the most of your days with a trip to Pallant House Gallery to see Glyn Philpot: Flesh and Spirit which runs until the 23rd of October. The exhibition includes his portraits of actors, dancers, poets, society hostesses, male lovers and friends, and examines his important contribution to the sensitive representation of Black sitters from the 1910s to 1930s, and his exploration of both queer and religious subjects.
