Variety Is Back Big Time!

It’s not long to the start of PierFest now, a month of top entertainment and music on the iconic Brighton Palace Pier. Britain’s Got Talent has revived the great tradition of variety and what’s not to love about a great ventriloquist. Steve Hewlett reached the final in 2013 and has been wowing audiences with his comedy characters ever since. Let’s see him in action with his curmudgeonly puppet pal Arthur Lager.

Steve Hewlett is at Horatio’s on Brighton Palace Pier on September the 18th.

That same night sees the premiere of a new film about the legendary Brighton comedian, The Cheeky Chappie, Max Miller. Latest TV working with the Max Miller Society look at the career of the legend whilst searching for a new home for their wonderful archive of Miller memorabilia. Packed with fascinating stories and interviews and starring the brilliant Jamie Kenna as Max, this new film will re-awaken interest in the man that changed the face of stand-up comedy. Cheeky yes, blue? Well maybe.

You can see this fascinating film first at PierFest before its broadcast on Latest TV.
