Womxn Talking – A New Production about Love, Death, Sex & Relationships

Latest’s Yael Breuer speaks to Dr Fenia Giannopoulou, an artist and academic who, with her theatre company Triada Theatre and Sarah Barfoot, have a new production in Brighton Fringe.

The show, Womxn Talking, brings 12 womxn together to share 12 different stories about love, death, sex and relationships. A night of monologues celebrating all womxn and raising awareness of mental health, wellbeing and community inclusion. Through the lens of theatrical storytelling, they will share stories of womxn’s personal journeys and experiences in an intimate space with a dynamic cast of local actors, writers and directors.

The production is a premiere collaboration produced by Dr Fenia Giannopoulou, artistic director of Triada Theatre Company and Sarah-Ann Barfoot, artistic director of Tanglehead Productions. In association with Sarah Johnson, Sweet Venues Brighton and the Centre of Arts and Wellbeing, University of Brighton.

Womxn Talking is at the Unitarian Church on 20th May at 8.30pm.
