Latest’s Andrew Kay interviews the star of Coronation Street and Victoria Wood’s brilliant Dinner Ladies prior her arriving In Brighton to revive here role in the West End hit show Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.

With a scarily extensive CV Shobna has been delighting TV and theatre audiences with performances like Sunita Alahan in Coronation Street and Anita in Dinner Ladies and more recently played Mari Hoff in The Rise and Fall of Little Voice. Now she returns to the role of Ray in Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.

Born in Lancashire in the 1960s alongside her work as an actress Sunita is an accomplished academic with a degree in Arabic and Middle Eastern politics from the University of Manchester.

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie opens at Theatre Royal Brighton on Tuesday  31 October and runs until Saturday 11 November 2023
