“Back in 2015, we started a festive tradition when we spontaneously recorded ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas’ in a few hours on the last day of term. Since then, it’s become bigger and better, taking up a lot of lunchtimes and after school sessions trying to make it sound as good as possible whilst throwing a bit of festive cheer out there. It’s a great way to mark each year and both staff and students love getting involved. So far, we’ve covered Wizzard, John Lennon, Stevie Wonder and Shakin’ Stevens as well as Band Aid. We thought ‘Stop The Cavalry’ by Jona Lewie was a good one to do this year. It seems to have gone down well so far!”
