Our annual Halloween on TV festival returns this month, celebrating the best horror shorts and animations from talented contemporary indie filmmakers worldwide! 

Expect zombies, witches, spooky kids, haunted houses, and lots, lots more…

Every night at 9pm, Thursday 24th – 31st October, with an omnibus on Halloween night.

In the surrealist short film Earl’s Death spin-off from feature film Baked Alaska, we delve into the disjointed, disorienting and dead reflections of goldminer Earl moments after his violent demise in a 1925 Alaskan brothel at the hands of time-traveling prostitutes. As Earl’s disembodied voice narrates, he confronts a cascade of humiliating and painful memories, questions the nature of death and negotiates trippy existential visuals for good measure. Earl reflects on the absurdities/indignities of his life, from embarrassing childhood mishaps to adult regrets. In a final, irreverent revelation, Earl’s darkly humorous musings reach a grim conclusion.
