SCIENCE PUB QUIZ ON THE PIER!
PLEASE COME AND TAKE PART IN A FREE, TELEVISED, “SCIENCE PUB QUIZ” – WITH THE BBC’S PROFESSOR JIM AL-KHALILI!
On Thursday 20th November, a live “science pub quiz” is being filmed for a forthcoming BBC series with Professor Jim Al-Khalili and legendary evolutionary psychology Professor Robin Dunbar. Please come along to the event and join the audience at Horatio’s Bar on Brighton Pier – there will be a fun science quiz, and Jim and Robin will also ask you to try out some cognitive puzzles and challenges. Tickets are free.
The aim of the evening is to give you an enjoyable and informative introduction to some of the reasons why our brains evolved as they did – and to give you some extraordinary insights into the psychology of ordinary life – why we do the things we do, and how we interact with others.
You can take part in the quiz individually, or with friends or as a full pub quiz team!
The event will be filmed for a forthcoming Horizon series on the evolution of the human brain, to be broadcast next year on the BBC and then to be distributed worldwide. Please do be advised that if you attend, you will be filmed as part of the audience and footage of you may be used in the programme
