David Ingram is Carrot Top!

As David boldly bounces onto the stage with an air of mischievousness, you are filled with a feeling we are going to have a lot of fun.
A lively show, full of innuendo and a lighthearted touch of downright smut, he has the
audience shrieking with laughter.

The whole show flows effortlessly through a storyline of a gay ginger lad growing up in Paisley, Scotland and then moves to Brighton…..there’s nothing that extraordinary, (except a car crash!) but David makes the ordinary very funny. Hence the tale is very relatable…for all people, genders and sexualities….even for a middle aged single straight woman like myself….as David candidly jokes about the pitfalls of dating in your forties.

There are a few ….”did he really just go there” moments where your eyes pop out your head and….which David pulls off with his natural wit, and charming smiley persona. All in all this is a feel good show, albeit with some harsh life events, with lashings of naughtiness, and some eyebrow raising jokes. Very Brighton, and a perfect end to wrap up my Fringe ………David’s one to look out for on the local comedy circuit……catch him before he gets discovered!
