Brighton Festival: 10 Years of “Our Place” and the Premiere of Kohlhaas
At the 60th Brighton Festival launch, Ian and Maggie celebrate the 10th anniversary of Our Place, a groundbreaking initiative that brings the arts directly into the heart of East Brighton, Hangleton, Mouslecoomb, and Bevendean. This year’s community focus features resident artist Leo Smith, who is leading workshops to create nature-based art trails. Meanwhile, the festival prepares for its first-ever in-house production, Kohlhaas, an epic tale of justice starring Arinzé Kene in the newly restored Corn Exchange.
