Andrew Kay talks with Molly Mathieson, founder of New Note, an orchestra based in Brighton for people in recovery. Patterson shares the journey of starting the group – inspired by her background in television and family experiences with addiction -which grew from a pilot project into an 11-year community success. She discusses how the orchestra fosters trust and creative growth through a mix of improvisation and ambitious arrangements, its partnership with the Wrexham One Thank You Mum Choir, and an upcoming concert at The Old Market.
