Latest TV: Jamie Walker puts women’s football at the forefront with new Albion show
Over my last two years as part of the sports team at Latest TV it has been a pleasure to be able to cover the progression of the Brighton & Hove Albion Women’s team. For any of you out there who haven’t gone to see them I would highly recommend it! It’s affordable, with a great atmosphere and the team play to a very high standard.
With all that being said I had wanted to put women’s football at the forefront here in Sussex and now we are able to thanks to our new Albion Women’s show. The first series will document the Seagulls’ first venture into the Women’s Super League with the Spring Series, before the show returns at the beginning of next season.
Albion Women’s games are affordable with a great atmosphere
It is a chance to bring the team to a wider audience and give them the platform to shine on that they deserve, and I hope it will be the perfect partner to our current coverage of the men’s team.
You can catch the show on Latest TV via Freeview Channel 7, Virgin Media 159 or thelatest.co.uk at 7:30pm every Wednesday night, with the show available on YouTube later in the week.
