Animal activist Jessie Treverton’s incredible story

Jessie Treverton, a leading member of animal welfare charity sea shepherd, was detained in Japan last month against her will, before being deported.

Her work involves documenting abuse against dolphins, and had previously got her into trouble in the Faroe Islands last September, where she was also arrested.

Ms Treverton, who lives in Brighton, sat down with Latest TV’s William Ranieri to discuss what happened.
