Strictly Murder

Strictly Murder is a game of two halves. Undoubtedly the second half is the superior. Gary Turner as the main suspect Peter Meredith does a fine job in the lead, but he is forced to spend inordinate amounts of time tidying the set. Seriously, minutes at a time are spent putting things away, straightening furniture, washing dishes; laudable but not interesting to watch. By the interval you are asking yourself all sorts of questions. E.g. why is it set in 1939? The mercifully short second half answers all of the questions posed by the first half and wraps up things nicely. So please do come back after the interval.
