The Ghost’s Touch
Imagine Gone Girl, meets The Sixth Sense, meets Groundhog Day. That’s the mash-up of The Ghost’s Touch. The trouble with suspense thrillers nowadays is that they all use the same device, which is to make us sit through an hour of coma-inducing set up, and at the end they go “Ta Dah! Here’s the surprise twist!”. The thing is, we want to be entertained from beginning to end. The 2-person cast look nice in Victorian costumes, like they are going to a steam punk wedding but played out against an entirely blank stage, there is too little action and too much narration.
