Live at Brighton Dome
Brighton has a new large-scale comedy night, and if this debut outing is anything to go by it could be set to become a much-loved institution. Compered with exquisite skill and effortless charm by the comedian’s comedian Daniel Kitson, the evening delivered a blockbuster bill of Tim Key (brilliantly unsettling and strangle comforting in equal hilarious measure), Nish Kumar (the laughs almost make Brexit worthwhile) and Kiri Pritchard-McClean (superbly living up to her rising star tag) in a relaxed setting, free from all the pomp and grandeur of it’s televised Apollo namesake.
