From the editor: A new leaf…
Welcome – to our new look magazine. It’s Spring, time for change, fresh ideas manifest in nature and the arrival of a variety pack of performers, ideas and fresh creativity – and we at Latest are very happy to be reflecting it all.
You’ll have noticed that the other side of the magazine is now flourishing as Brightonsfinest – filled to the brim with live music highlights, interviews, reviews and so much more. With its ear firmly to the ground in this fabulous city renowned for its musical chutzpah and adventure, that expertise is selecting the best and the latest sounds and bringing them to you.
Meanwhile, the incredible comedy, theatre, food & drink, dance, events, cabaret, nightlife and all the rest that comes together to make this glorious home of ours is heralded on this side of the magazine. Hurrah! Including an exclusive interview with BBC Radio 4’s John Finnemore ahead of his Brighton Festival show, previews of the stunning exhibits in the Artists Open Houses, This Boy Tom – a play starring local children focussing on bullying as a part of the Brighton Fringe, and the fantastic 20th Century Boy Marc Bolan biographic show.
Plus, we will continue to bring you news and reliable help in finding your new home too, with the latest from estate agents, auctioneers, local history and more.
And a new section including the full listings from Latest TV, all the week’s films, a Sneak Peek at what Latest TV has in the works, and a round-up of the best of the rest on telly. It’s bursting! Our Spring buds are a veritable bouquet!
