Latest’s Andrew Kay is probably best know as a professional fat lad, by which he means food writer, so he was delighted that he was asked to speak at the Brighton People’s Theatre to talk all things food with over 100 people across the city. The stories paint a picture of the city from a perspective never seen before. Brighton People’s Theatre and an ensemble of performers from across the city have now created Born and Bread; a portrait of the city told through (mostly) true stories about food. The table has been laid, and Born and Bread takes place at the Attenborough Centre for Creative Arts on the 18th and 19th of July.

Great news for ballet lovers when Brighton dome welcomes back the legendary Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo. For almost 50 years, the all-male comedy ballet company Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo (affectionately known as ‘The Trocks’) have been delighting audiences of all ages at sell-out performances featuring their fabulous sense of fun and their flawless dance. And yes it is flawless, every member of this extraordinary company is a professional classical dancer but not only that the all male company dance on points. The Trocks are at Brighton Dome on the 23rd and 24th of September.
