Murder On The Nile
This excellent, if rather old-fashioned, production did exactly what one would hope, but with few surprises. An excellent set was let down by some poor production values and dull lighting and the excellent cast were let down by one member who may once have been Chardonnay, but was last night merely plonk. That aside, Kate O’Mara turned in a great performance as Miss ffoliot-folks (no capitals please), Mark Wynter too and Denis Lill played an excellent Canon Pennefather. Agatha Christie’s plot can still intrigue, and the audience were, to be honest, captivated throughout.
