Jimmy Tarbuck O.B.E.

Easily used, it’s rare that the word ‘legend’ can be attributed to someone correctly. For Jimmy Tarbuck it is absolutely apt. Comedy is a broad church and whilst Jimmy’s humour is old school (set up –punchline) and some of the content arguably old-fashioned, there is still a place for it today. The show proved he was still a master at the honest telling of a gag, performed with charm and a mischevious twinkle in the eye. Part jokes, part anecdote, part reminisce with photos/films of his heyday. Who knew, he played football for Brighton – HA!! A bit less singing for me but a joy nonetheless.
