Bad Manners

It was skinhead panto night at Concorde 2, with Buster Bloodvessel hamming it up as the Fatty Skamother. Walking on to a welcoming chant of “You Fat B*stard” the opening number created a sea of bobbing bald heads that were well up for a good old knees-up and singalong. An excellent frontman but no great singer, Buster was thankfully backed by a super-tight band with a punchy brass section that ran through a selection of well-chosen covers including ‘Keep On Jumping’ and Clancy Eccles’ ‘Fattie Fattie’. Their own songs still sounded fresh and bouncy and the crowd loved every minute.
