Brighton Lights Episode 48
So could you run a marathon? The Running Man Dan Lawson ran 8 in a row without stopping and in his own laid back way he tells presenter Guy Lloyd “that didn’t involve sleep.” Dan is on our Brighton Lights studio sofa with rock band Kovak who want to know how Dan managed those other things humans need to do!! Well like Paula Radcliffe, I guess! Dan tells Guy about his new world record attempt at running a mere 520 miles in a week on a treadmill outside Jubilee Library from March 9th and how you can join him on the adjoining treadmill. All in aid of Albion In The Community’s charities which encourage healthy eating and amongst many other good causes, cancer awareness programmes. Teenager Melissa Collidge was diagnosed with cancer in summer last year and her story is continued in Jay Legate’s film Melissa’s World. “It’s nice, people knowing what it’s like to go through it” she says and this is reality TV as it should be IMHO. Jenni Davidson reports on The Waste House, yes a house made completely out of rubbish and no that’s not Guy Lloyd’s student home! Caroline Lucas lays the first stone and Guy’s guests discuss how clean or wasted their houses are. Kovak get up off that sofa to show off their rootsy bandy sound on new single Radiate and their killer boots on, well Killer Boots. Brighton Lights is at thelatest.tv
