Hamptons supports Cancer Research UK
Hamptons International is proud to announce an official corporate partnership with the UK’s leading cancer charity Cancer Research UK.
“As part of this partnership we are hoping to raise £100,000 for the charity by the end of 2013,” says Senior Lettings Manager Nicola Brown. “Hamptons International has 70 sales and 50 lettings offices across the country and staff at Hamptons are partaking in various fundraising events throughout the year to help reach the fundraising target. These include Race For Life, night time walking marathon Shine, and a company-wide bake off. Employees have also been encouraged to spearhead our own local fundraising initiatives to raise awareness and help reach the overall target.
“On April 5th 2013 we are hosting an event at Lingfield Park Racecourse and have decided to hold a silent auction for our Southern Region staff in order to kick-start our fundraising as a region for Cancer Research UK and have approached local businesses we feel may be able to contribute something as a prize in the auction.
“So far we have managed to secure some fabulous prizes such as Afternoon Tea at the Ritz donated from one of our contractors, a cut and blow dry at Toni and Guy, a Kindle from a local newspaper, a spa experience, tickets to a brewery tour with tasting and many other lots.”
